1. Post: Professional Trainee

2. Vacancies: 08 (Eight)

3. Location: Central Library, IIT Kharagpur

4. Training Period: 12 months

5. Stipend: ₹22,000 per month

✅ Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification: Must have First Class in both:

   1. BLIS (Bachelor of Library and Information Science)

   2. MLIS (Master of Library and Information Science)

2. Age Limit: Not more than 30 years

📄 General Instructions

1. Reservation: As per Government of India norms.

2. Recognized Qualification: Degree must be from a recognized university/institute.

3. Document Upload:

   1. All certificates/testimonials must be uploaded with the online application.

   2. Password-protected files will not be accepted.

4. Eligibility Confirmation: Admission to any stage of the selection process is provisional, subject to document verification.

5. Category Certificates:

   1. Valid SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD certificate must be uploaded.

   2. OBC-NCL/EWS certificate should be issued on or after 01.04.2025.

6. Eligibility Cut-Off Date:All eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the last date of application submission: 12.07.2025

7. Application Fee:

   1. UR/EWS candidates: ₹500

   2. SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates: ₹250

   3. Payable via SBI Net Banking, other net banking, or card options.
