📚 Eligibility & Educational Qualifications

Age Limit (as of 1 July 2023):

18–44 years for all librarian categories 

Academic Qualifications:

• School Librarian:

  • Graduation + Degree in Library Science (MLIS, BLIS etc.) from UGC-recognized institution 

• Junior & Degree College Librarian:

  • Strong academic record in Master of Library Science (MLIS) with ≥ 55% marks Likely need NET qualification (especially for degree level)

💰 Salary & Fees

• Pay scale (School Librarian): ₹38,890 – ₹1,12,510 per month 

• Application fee:

  • ₹12,000 for general category candidates

  • ₹600 for TS state applicants under SC/ST/BC/EWS/Differently-abled categories
